A multidisciplinary team assessed the Ampara Tyre Recapping Facility to evaluate operations and identify improvements in productivity, quality, and safety. Key issues found included outdated machinery, material shortages, inconsistent quality control, and safety risks due to lack of PPE. A phased improvement plan was proposed to boost tyre output and quality, modernize infrastructure, and enhance long-term sustainability
